Research Themes

Neurophysiological study on schizophrenia

I explain the pathophysiology of schizophrenia using brain waves and other methods. Specifically, I focus on searching for physiological indications that could be useful for early judgment of treatment effect.

Brain developmental study using MEG/NIRS integrated device

The NIRS that reflects brain blood flow and the MEG that captures neural activity are both noninvasive and child-friendly brain function examination methods. My research is aimed at establishing new indices for the relationship between nerves and blood vessels by integrating these instruments and new physiological indices for evaluating child cerebrum development.
