Research Themes

Innate immune system on the fish body surface.

Fishes are continuously attacked by the pathogenic bacteria in the environmental water. Therefore, the fish body mucus contains various kinds of antimicrobial factor. In this study, we attempt to clarify the structure and function of the antimicrobial factors.
