Research Themes

Curriculum development of health education for mental and physical development of college students

I examine effective health education approaches in the university by implementing the “Program of Growth Support through Nurturing Mind and Body: Educating Students with Practical Wisdom that Brings Happiness to Society,” which was adopted as a “Student Support GP Program Responding to New Societal Needs” in 2007.

Study of Immunotherapy for Myasthenia Gravis

In order to develop a more effective and safe treatment method for myasthenia gravis, an organ-specific immune disorder targeting neuromuscular junctions, my aim is to investigate the possibility of a new immunotherapy method while examining effective administration methods of currently available drugs.

Immunopathogenesis of autoimmune neurological disorder

The pathophysiology of immunological nerve disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis) is yet to be fully explained. I attempt to clarify the molecular level pathology of these disorders, and also examine whether there are autoimmune disorders among neurological disorders that have not been anticipated to involve autoimmunity, for which new therapy methods can be used.
