Pattern Formation in crystal growth

Pattern Formation in crystal growth Crystal surfaces that appear even have bumps of atomic layers called steps. In a growing crystal, solidification occurs in these areas, and proceeds to crystallization. I study the behavior of steps in the growth and sublimation of a crystal, and what form of the crystal it is reflected in.
