研究課題

海水中の金属有機配位子分析法の検討と開発

植物プランクトンにとって海水中の金属の利用可能性（取り込めるか否か）は単にその金属の濃度だけではなく、金属と有機配位子の錯生成にも大きく依存する。そのため、有機配位子の分析は海洋における微量金属元素の挙動解明に不可欠である。しかし、海水中の有機配位子は濃度が低く、非常に多様であるため、分析が困難である。我々は電気化学の手法で有機配位子の分析法の改良・開発を挑む。

海洋における微量金属元素の挙動解明 近年人間活動の活発化よって海洋に流入する金属の量が増加している。我々は国際研究計画GEOTRACES(https://www.geotraces.org/)の一環として北太平洋と周辺の縁辺海において調査を行い、それらの海域における微量金属元素の挙動を解明する。
