Study on the serviceability of the pedestrian bridge

When a pedestrian walks on a pedestrian overpass, it vibrates 2Hz vertically and 1Hz horizontally. If the overpass has the specific frequency of 2Hz or 1Hz, it resonates with the pedestrian to produce greater vibration, causing the pedestrian a sense of discomfort and insecurity. I investigate the vibration serviceability of overpasses to prevent this problem.

Study on the environmental vibration around Highway Bridge due to traffic load

When trucks run the highway bridge, people living in houses of the vicinity may complain of vibration. In order to solve these complaints, we will conduct running vehicle test with a test car to understand bridge vibration characteristics. In addition, we will make the bridge models and analytically investigate the effects of various construction methods as vibration countermeasures.

Evaluation of the load carrying capacity of rigid frame bridge with H-shaped steel

An H-section steel-plate deck bridge is constructed by lining H-section steel plates that have simply thirled holes on the web plate, running steel rods through the holes and securing them with nuts on both ends. Beam-top steel bars are set, and concrete is placed between the beams to build the bridge body. With the addition of a rigid frame, the bridge is economically less costly and of excellent aseismic and load-bearing capacity. With regard to these bridges, I figure out load bearing capacity up to destruction with static loading experiment, and demonstrate sufficient load bearing capacity.
