Research Themes
Experimental investigation of the backward wave oscillator with terahertz range in terms of plasma science
Through this research, I seek to achieve higher frequency and higher power output of terahertz light source using non-neutral plasma that is made only of electrons that are highly controllable and measurable. I approach this goal by demonstrating various processes of multiparticle system relaxation phenomena in an amplified fashion and experimentally investigating the basic characteristics of the physical phenomenon that is shown by electron beams emitting terahertz-range electromagnetic waves in electronic valves.
