My research focuses on the green and sustainable transformation of biomass into functional materials, with a particular emphasis on cellulose chemistry, ionic liquid design, and environmentally friendly solvent systems. I explore innovative strategies for biomass dissolution, fractionation, and chemical modification using ionic liquids and deep eutectic solvents.
Integrating computational modeling and machine learning, my work aims to develop scalable, eco-friendly processes for producing advanced bio-based materials. I am also interested in designing new bio-compatible polymers and composites, and in creating technologies that support sustainable chemistry and circular material use.
